How does it work?

How do I take Vivelle-Dot (estradiol transdermal)? 

You should use as directed by your physician. Vivelle-Dot (estradiol transdermal) is generally applied to a clean and dry area of the lower abdomen or buttocks. This patch should be changed twice weekly or approximately every 3 to 4 days. 

What dosages are available?

It is available as brand 25mcg, 37.5mcg, 50mcg, 75mcg, and 100 mcg patches. It is also available as generic 50mcg, 75 mcg, and 100mcg patches.

What is the recommended dosage?

Typically a 0.0375mg patch is applied twice weekly but take as directed by your doctor.

What if I miss a dose?
